ALL ABOUT ANGICO TEAK
Angico Teak, also known as Acacia, is a very versatile and stable species that is known for being hard, strong, inelastic, and durable. The Acacia tree itself typically grows to 50 feet in height and up to 3 feet in diameter. Acacia trees typically grow in abundance in the mostly warm and humid climates of Australia and East and South Africa. The Acacia wood has a medium luster and is often light brown with pinkish tones and features similarly colored sapwood with wavy interlocking grain patterns. Acacia as a species is only mildly photosensitive and will mostly maintain it's color over time.

Acacia is a wood that offers outstanding quality and excellent value mainly because of its high availability. Due to its versatility and value Acacia wood has become a favorite in many different industries and applications. Uses for Acacia in the last 10 years has grown significantly and ranges from flooring, and construction materials to musical instruments.
Angico Teak’s wavy grain pattern with golden-brown hues and dark striping give every room a rich, inviting warmth that only teak can offer. Angico Teak will gradually darken over time accentuating its deep grain patterns.
