ALL ABOUT BOLIVIAN ROSEWOOD
Bolivian Rosewood, also known as Morado, is one of the most visually exotic species of flooring available today. Its beautiful coloring and heavy interlocking grain patterns have made Bolivian Rosewood one of the most desirable species in the world. The Bolivian Rosewood tree is a slow growing tree that can reach a height of up to 100 feet and a diameter of 3-5 feet. It is a very strong and stable species with an incredibly high resistance to bending due to it's almost entirely interlocking grain patterns.

Bolivian Rosewood grows mainly in Brazil and Bolivia but is popular all over the world. Its color can be highly varied, ranging from reddish/orange hues to a dark violet/brown, usually with darker black streaks. Bolivian Rosewood is highly photosensitive and will mostly darken over time with exposure to light. Over the last decade Bolivian Rosewood has become one of the most frequently used wood species in flooring, professional musical instruments, cabinetry, and high-end furniture.
Bolivian Rosewood has a deep rosewood like color with black striping on top of a dark brown background. Truly one of the most beautiful and durable species of wood available. With unique grain patterns and dramatic color ranges, Bolivian Rosewood flooring is sure to make a bold statement in any home.
