ALL ABOUT BRAZILIAN WALNUT ENGINEERED
Brazilian Walnut Engineered, also known as Lapacho, is one of the most remarkably hard and durable woods. Along with being one of the densest species of wood available it is also incredibly stable and highly resistant to bending. The heartwood coloring of Lapacho ranges from olive brown tone to near black hues. At BR-111 we carefully hand-select the most consistently colored planks to give our engineered Brazilian Walnut a warm and inviting feel.

. The Lapacho tree is slow growing and can reach heights of 120 feet with a diameter of 4-6 feet. Lapacho is a tree that grows abundantly in both central and South America. Although a very popular species in the flooring industry, Lapacho has long been used in the building of ship docks, harbor construction and railroad ties. This species is so incredibly dense and resilient that it is often used in large scale outdoor decking projects and fencing. A truly beautiful and durable exotic species that is sure to stand the test of time.
Brazilian Walnut features a distinctive range of dark brown and deep blond hues that mix to form an exotic and rich color. Incredibly durable and beautiful Brazilian Walnut is the perfect choice for anyone looking for a warm and durable floor.
