ALL ABOUT ZINFANDEL TIGERWOOD
Zinfandel Tigerwood, also known as Zebrawood, is one of the harder and more durable exotic woods available. Tigerwood originates from South America, predominately Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. Tigerwood is an incredibly stable species and contains interlocking grains making it very resistant to bending. Tigerwood trees can often grow to over 100 feet tall with a trunk diameter of over 3 feet. The sapwood of Tigerwood is typically a brownish-white hue, while the heartwood is reddish-brown to light golden-brown in color. Tigerwood gets its name from the many long flowing dark grain patterns running through the lumber. Tigerwood has become one of the most popular flooring species used in the United States, not only for its beauty but also for its durability and character.

BR-111 Zinfandel Tigerwood is a natural version of this popular wood with the added luxury of a hand-scraped finish and light thin French bleed . It is a photosensitive wood species and will darken significantly over time with exposure to light creating an inviting and warm look. Tigerwood's uses include flooring, boat building, and fine furniture.
Wildly exotic yet strikingly sophisticated. BR111 Zinfandel Tigerwood takes traditional Tigerwood flooring and, using an exclusive light scraping technique, adds amazing character and style. With a luxurious french bleed added to each board to accentuate Tigerwood’s beauty and unique grain variation.
